Art Deco figurine "The Kneeling One" in dark terracotta by Imre Bedö

This beautiful Art Deco sculpture was made by Bayernwald-Keramik in Erlau around 1948. It shows the female nude "The Kneeling One" based on a design by Imre Bedö (Hungary Pecs 1901-1980 Deggendorf). The figurine is made of dark terracotta shards. The artist's name, company press mark and copy number are engraved on the base. A wonderful sculpture without any damage.
