Small bakelite lamp in dark brown with a white spherical shade made of opaline glass

The dark brown bakelite table lamp in Art Deco style was probably made in the 1930s. The lamp is in original, very good condition and fully functional. The lampshade is adjustable. The large, flat button switch on the lamp is particularly striking. The arm of the lamp is nicely curved and at the ball joint it shows a different colored marbled Bakelite insert. The lamp was provided with a new plug made of duroplast. A wonderful piece as a reading light or bedside lamp.
