Tulip lamp made of opal glass with bakelite holder

Very pretty ceiling lamp made of vanilla-coloured opal glass in Art Deco style. A glass shade made of vanilla-coloured opal glass is attached to the dark brown Bakelite gallery using a screw thread. The lamp is very elegant and beautifully shaped. It spreads a pleasant light. The Bakelite part is angular and three-tiered. The flower-shaped glass shade is particularly striking. The lamp was manufactured by the Thabur glass factory in the Netherlands, the Bakelite part is from the Stadion company. An opening was broken out at one edge of the Bakelite gallery to feed the cables through. The light has a patina commensurate with its age and is fully functional. An original eye-catcher from the 1930s!
