Cantilever tubular steel armchair S411 by Mücke Melder incl. cushion
Restored cantilever tubular steel armchair by Mücke Melder based on the well-known Thonet design from the 1930s. The beautiful armchair was upholstered with new fabric in typical period pattern. Black welts, also on the back, underlines the graphic character of the furniture. The straps were tightened. Wooden frame, spring core and the tubular steel frame are in original condition. The upholstery was already worked up earlier and is in perfect condition. The armchair is tightly padded and very comfortable. The chrome is in excellent condition. The armrests have been worked on true to the original with black shellac. A feather-filled cushion in the same fabric with black welts completes this Bauhaus original.
