Wooden milliner's model head
This milliner's head was designed in the years 1910-1930 to put on new hats and display them in shops. It is made of solid wood; the expressive face is carved by hand. The head is hollow inside and has a hole on the underside so that it can be placed on a stick when decorating a shop. Our model has a head circumference of 53 cm, hat size 53, which is engraved on the side. There is no note about the manufacturer of the head, but most of these heads come from Germany. The wooden head has age-appropriate patina and clear signs of use. It is a beautiful decorative and collectible object with character in life-size.
