Cubist wooden sculpture by Atelier Boulogne, Czech Republic
This large solid wood sculpture, made by Atelier Boulogne from the Czech Republic, is a fine example of Cubist art. A multi-part abstract skier is shown. It is the 3rd of 8 pieces produced. The bottom of the sculpture is signed and marked with the edition. The sculpture is impressively large, a real eye-catcher. The wood is stained dark brown. We estimate the time of origin to be between the 1930s and 1950s. The sculpture has age-appropriate patina. A dream piece!
